artist, songwriter, and inspirational music creator, and the founder and owner of Johnson Rays
Entertainment Limited. He is known for blending vibrant African rhythms with messages of faith,
hope, and resilience.
His music bridges contemporary Afrobeats with gospel reggae, creating a
unique sound that connects with listeners across cultures.
Johnson Rays began his musical journey in the church choir, where he discovered his passion for
singing and songwriting. Influenced by legendary gospel reggae artists such as Papa San and
Sherwin Gardner, as well as Nigerian gospel Afrobeats and inspirational musicians including
Nathaniel Bassey, Sinach, and Frank Edwards, he developed a style that combines uplifting spiritual
messages with infectious African rhythms.
Through his music, Johnson Rays seeks to inspire faith, hope, and motivation, encouraging listeners
